Marvin’s Bar-B-Q Sauce

Who doesn’t love a great barbeque in the summer?  Chicken, ribs, steaks, burgers and the list is endless.  There are so many sauces and rubs to choose from, but have you ever made your own?  My uncle Marvin did, this is his recipe.  It has a mild, tomato-y flavor, it’s great on burgers and even meatloaf.  Quick, easy and you probably have all the ingredients on hand.  Fire up the grill and give it a try, I think you’ll like it.

Marvin’s Bar-B-Q Sauce

3/4 c. catsup

2 t. Worcestershire Sauce

1 t. mustard

1 T. brown sugar

1 T. vinegar

1/2 c. water

Mix all ingredients together.  I store it in a mason jar, but there is rarely any left over to store!

Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. ~ Psalms 62:8 (NIV)
